Telenor GPRS Edge MMS settings for ALL CHINA Mobiles

1) Manual Setting

first click SERVICES icon in main menu==>DATA ACCOUNT==>GPRS==>EDIT any existing account==>

Account Name–> Telenor

APN–>internet

User name–>Telenor

Password–>Telenor

Auth. Type–>Normal

save all the settings.

Come back to SERVICES==>WAP==>SETTINGS==>EDIT PROFILE==>EDIT any existing account==>

Rename Profile==> Telenor wap

Homepage==>http://Telenor.com.pk or what ever you want

data account==> Telenor (which we created previously)

Connection Type==>

Here u find three option

a) Connection-oriented

b) Connectionless

c) HTTP

choose a) Connection-Http==>

IP Address==>172.18.19.11

Security==> off

Again save all the settings and click BACK button and choose “Activate Profile”

Come back to SERVICES==>WAP==>Homepage

and you r ready to use Telenor Gprs

2) Airtel MMS

first click SERVICES icon in main menu==>DATA ACCOUNT==>GPRS==>EDIT any existing account==>

Account Name–> MMS

APN–>mms

Auth. Type–>Normal

Username–>Telenor

Password–>Telenor

save all the settings.

Come back to SERVICES==>WAP==>SETTINGS==>EDIT PROFILE==>EDIT any existing account==>

Rename Profile==> Telenor MMS

Homepage==>http://mmstelenor/

data account==> MMS (which we created previously)

Connection Type==>

Here u find three option

a) Connection-oriented

b) Connectionless

c) HTTP

choose c) HTTP==>

Proxy Address==>172.18.19.11

Proxy Port==>8799

Again save all the settings and click BACK button and choose “Activate Profile”

Come back to SERVICES==>WAP==>Homepage

and you r ready to use Telenor MMS

Automatic Setting Type (All) in new sms massage and send it to (131)

telenor server will automatically detect model of your mobile phone and send Gprs/Adge MMS setting

save these setting and if mobile ask for code then write (0000).

Step 1: Activating GPRS, WAP and MMS on Zong Number through SMS
You can activate GPRS, WAP and MMS with a very simple process…
If you want to activate all services at once, then write an SMS as follwing
AllMakeModel and send to 131 (All Nokia 6300-> send it to 131)
If you want only GPRS settings then write an SMS as following
InternetMakeModel and sent to 131
In case you don’t need GPRS or WAP and only want MMS, then follow this
MMSMakeModel and sent to 131
Similarly, for only WAP setting on Zong number
WAPMakeModel and sent to 131
Step 2: Once you send any of above given message, you will receive setting in an SMS. Save this SMS and you are done.
Zong GPRS Pricing
Zong offers very attracting GPRS and MMS pricing for customers. In fact their prices are best amongst all cellular companies of Pakistan.
Zong GPRS is available in following 3 packages.
1 – Standard Package: Under standard setting you will be charged Rs. 15 per MB (Excluding Taxes)
2 – Unlimited Mobile Internet Package: Zong is the only company that offers unlimited GPRS even
- its postpaid and prepaid users. So obviously, with this package there is no cap on the data usage,
and all you to pay is Rs. 400 per month (Excluding Taxes)
- To activate Zong unlimited internet package call 310
3 – Zong Mobile Internet Hourly Package: Again a distinction for Zong that offers you GPRS usage on per hour or even Per minute basis. Under this package you can use Rs. 15 per Hour (Excluding Taxes) or Rs. 0.25 Per min (Excluding Taxes)
To activate Zong Mobile Internet Hourly Package, simply dial 905 from your ZONG number that’s it!

Note: This setting is for Ufone.
For Nokia Users {For Example: N73}
1. Connect your Phone with your PC via cable or blutooth..
2.A modem will be installed as per your connection
3.Go to Control Panel => Phone and Modem Options => Modems
Click on the installed modem, my phone is connected via cable… so my modem is
“Nokia N73 USB Modem”
click on it and click on “Properties”
select tab “Advanced”
write the line in extra initialization command.. copy paste ..
AT+CGDCONT=,,”ufone.pmms”
click Ok.. again OK .. and close control panel..
now Create New Internet Connection Using Your Installed Modem..
ISP name: “Ufone”
Dailup Number: *99#
User Name: ufone
Password: ufone
do not Dial it yet…..
Right Click on “Internet Explorer” => Select “Options”
Select tab “Connections”
there u will see your created internet connection ” Ufone” in dailup network setting.. click on it and then click “Setting”..
click the “Proxy Server” check box..
put the below line in Proxy server address:
172.016.013.026
put “8080″ in port..
Now Dial.

Go to Menu: SettingsConnectivityData Comm.Data Accounts
Now Select ( New Account ) Select (GPRS data) Type the Account name ( Ufone Gprs)
Now Select ( Continue) , It will show you some options Select ( APN )
Type this code in APN ” ufone.pmms ” Select OK Select SAVE
Now your GPRS Data Account is Created Now BACK TO ( Connectivity)
Select (Internet Settings) (Internet Profiles) New Profile Select NAME & ADD
Give it a name ” ufone Gprs ” Back Select Connect Using Now select the Data Account
that you have made ” Ufone Gprs”. Back SAVE IT Internet Profiles Now your Profile is selected
Select ( MORE ) Settings Use Proxy: Select YES Edit Proxy Address Type: 172.016.013.026
OK SAVE
